Lock your Nokia S60 with simple text message

Symbian handsets have many hidden talents and functions. One of which is the ”remote phone locking” function. This function allows to lock your S60 device like the Nokia N97 via a text message from everywhere.

If, for example, somebody had stolen your precious Nokia N97 with really important and private data you can simply write a text message to your phone number and immediately your N97 is locked. However, first you need to activate this function.Therefore go into the menu and than choose settings-phone settings-Phone mgmt-Security settings-Phone and Sim card-Remote phone locking‘. Once you enable it you have to define a message like e.g. ”nokian97” and afterwards verify it again. Now you have activated this function.



Will this message be sent to your Nokia N97 it will automatically lock itself and can only be unlocked with the lock code which is ”12345” out of the box. However, we do recommend to change it to guarantee that only you know the code. Again, we want to stress that this function is also supported by all other S60 devices such as the 5800 Xpress Music, E72 or the N96.

Lock Your Folder Without using any software

Suppose you want to lock path E:\New folder.
1.1st open notepad
2.Write- ren New folder New folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}
3.save the notepad in E drive and save this name lock.bat
4.Open another notepad
5.Write- ren New folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} New folder
 6.Save the notepad in E drive and save this name key.bat

 Now Double click the lock.bat file,Your file will be locked.
And Double click the Key.bat file, Your file will be Unlock.

Add “Empty Recycle Bin” Option to the Mouse right click menu

Our deleted file comes to recycle bin by default. We are to delete that file again form recycle bin if we want to delete permanently. Generally we right click on recycle bin then “Empty Recycle Bin” to do that. Form now you don’t have to click on Recycle Bin, you will get “Empty Recycle Bin” right click of anywhere.



How to do?
Open Notepad

Go to http://m.youtube.com/
Search your video which you want to play.


Write click on that video which you want to play & select copy link location


Open your vlc media player. If you don’t have vlc media player; please download vlc media player & install it.
Press Ctrl+V to paste that link, you will get below screen.

Here's a funny story of my arrow, I have to test to the Lock option is ON. But (see photo No. 15), we do not notice the password. A while later, I see the image like below on my computer. Then i can't open my computer.Then  Other computers on the Net Open site in my account of what was to Unlock pass it on to my computer with a password to open the computer, I finally could. So do all just cool your mind.
